The Media Ministry is responsible for the coordination and use of the church’s sound, lighting,
video and livestreaming technology used during Mass and special liturgical celebrations.
Our Media Mission is to glorify God by leading the congregation in a “fully conscious and active participation in liturgical celebrations” (Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, n. 14) to ensure that our Mass can be viewed by those parishioners who are sick or homebound to facilitate better communication and comprehension, allowing the Liturgy of the Word and Liturgy of the Eucharist to resonate deeper with the congregation to enhance outreach, build engagement, and increase impact
The Media Ministry works closely with the Clergy, the Liturgy Ministry, and the Music Ministry
to create a powerful, dynamic, and respectful worship experience for our congregation.
Our Media Technicians need to have a comprehensive knowledge of the Order of the Mass as
well as a general comfort level with computers, cameras, the internet, and slide presentation
software. Volunteers will be trained in specific technical skills required for ministry
responsibilities.
